Below is a knowledge base of the solutions for the Uncommon (green) and Rare (blue) Adventure Crystals in Minecraft Earth. Common adventures are not included in this list as the solution is normally just “dig to find the chest”. New adventures and solutions to their puzzles are frequently added to the bottom of each section, so check back often for new updates.

How to use this Google Doc

1. Use the Find feature (Ctrl + F) and type in a description of the solution you want to find, using some of the words for the first things you see.

1. Example: “three rabbits”, “two oak trees”, “iron bars”, “lava”, etc.

2. Search through the document to see if you can find a description and pictures of the solution you are looking for.

3. Follow the instructions for how to solve the adventure.

Tip: You can use the Document Outline feature to browse through an outline of the solution names for each adventure.

Tip: You can click on the heading with the name of the adventure to get a direct hyperlink to that adventure in the document. This is helpful if you want to share a specific adventure on this list with someone so they can go straight to it in the list. (Example: It’s a Trap!)

SOLUTION FORMAT

Adventure name (not “official”) and Crafters Guide hyperlink

Above ground: What you first see when you first place the adventure.

Below ground: What you see when you dig below the surface.

Solution: A simple summary of what you have to do to solve the adventure to get the chest to appear, how to deal with any hostile mobs you may find, and notes about the location and quantity of ore blocks or other valuable items you may want to collect. All numbers should be spelled out (four, not 4) to enable more precise searching.

UNCOMMON ADVENTURE CRYSTALS (GREEN)

Squid Tank

Above ground: Squid in the glass cage over a well

Below ground: A lake with a bunch of squids below

Solution: Just break the glass blocks below the squid to drop him to his friends in the lake below and reveal the chest. There is also four iron, two lapis and five coal.

Yin Yang

Above ground: Bucket floating on top of a table

Below ground: Lava and water lakes shaped like a Yin Yang

Solution: Pour lava into the water cauldron, and pour water into the lava cauldron, after which the chest will appear, and a stack of four lapis and four iron ore will appear replacing each cauldron. Beware, if you pour water in the water cauldron, or pour lava in the lava cauldron, it will spawn skeletons in the cauldron.

Fish Pond

Above ground: Some grass blocks and two water blocks

Below ground: Four trout (fish) in a pond with smooth stone slab walkways

Solution: Kill one of the fish to spawn in four skeletons. Kill them without dying to reveal the chest, with two gold, and two iron below it. There is also four iron and three coal hidden in the wall right underneath where you start.

Lava Ritual

Above ground: Desert monument with two rabbits

Below ground: A block of gold in a desert temple

Solution: Get four solid sandstone blocks and put them in the mouth of the four openings, one on each wall to stop the flow of lava, break the gold block to start the lava flow right behind each of the blocks you placed. Wait about fifteen seconds for the game to make sure the chickens don't get burned by the lava. Mine out coal and iron around the center four blocks. You can also leave and come back to the adventure with empty buckets to get the lava.

Desert River

Above ground: Two jumbo rabbits in the desert

Below ground: A desert with a switch on the wall by a redstone lamp

Solution:Use interact mode to flip the switch to create a stream of water to make the wheat grow. Kill all the mobs that come down the stream without dying. Make sure to get the two hidden diamond blocks near the switch, and the iron, lapis and coal near the corners. You can also get about twenty wheat and four redstone lamps.

Volcano

Above ground: Cave entrance with a L made of diorite

Below ground: Lava flowing into a cave

Solution: Block off or pick up all of the lava flows, kill the two zombies, mine out the iron and gold to get to the very bottom center of the cave. Kill the two skeletons that are under the middle four blocks to find the chest at the very bottom. Should be six gold and three iron or in total.

Zombie Bunker

Above ground: Six trapdoors surrounded by fences

Below ground: Stairs leading down to a room

Solution: Open the trapdoors to kill the zombie down the stairs, but beware the four zombies that will spawn at the corners of the fences. Best to place the adventure away from you to keep some distance between you and the zombies. Make sure to get the iron and gold at the bottom of the stairs when they're dead.
